When was FiltaFry established?
Over the past 20 years Filtafry has become an internationally
recognised franchised brand name, and a world leader in cooking oil filtration within the catering industry. In 1998 FiltaFry Australia was established and has proven to be successful with many franchises currently operating throughout Australia.
Cooking oil filtration is a hot issue and another huge growth industry. The market is massive and in fact consists of any business that has a deep fryer for example:
“Hotels, restaurants, bars, airports, fast food outlets, hospitals, clubs, schools, sports venues…”

What territories are still available?
QLD: Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Cairns - VIC: Ballarat/Bendigo – NSW: Canberra, Albury/Wodonga, Gosford and only limited territories available in Sydney.
Is my area exclusive?
Yes. Each territory is based on postcodes and is designed to have the potential for more than one van, if required.
What is the term of the Franchise Agreement and
the cost of renewal?
The Franchise Agreement is for ten years and is renewable with no additional franchise fee.
Can I speak to existing Franchisees?
Certainly. We have a very open policy and you can speak to all our Franchisees and if you wish have the opportunity to spend some time with them in the field.
If I expand can I train my own operators?
Yes, but they must also attend one of our residential courses.
If both parties are agreeable, how long does it take to become operational?
Between 30 and 60 days. We endeavour to agree a mutually acceptable time frame with all new Franchisees.
