FiltaFry’s on-site cooking oil filtration extends the useable life of cooking oil by removing all suspended particles and other unwanted contaminants such as carbons, minimising chemical breakdown.
FiltaFry utilises world exclusive technology developed in the UK for FiltaFry use only.
Cooking oil is removed from each deep fryer unit via a lance and is passed directly into our machine. This process is undertaken at normal cooking temperature (180ºC). The oil passes firstly through a pre-filter, removing all large suspended carbons down to 80 microns. Under high pressure, the oil is then forced through our
specially developed cartridge system where all remaining carbons, contaminants and odours are removed down to 1 micron.
The process of filtration takes approximately 8-10 minutes per fryer. The total capacity of our machine at any one time is
90 litres. No chemicals or powders are used during the process.
